My specimens of M. bituberosus identified by Yamasako are all much darker reddish-brown and all nearly identically colored. I'm not sure what this is. It's hard to tell from the photo if some some pubescence has been rubbed off.

The pubescence has not been rubbed off except for that little bare spot on the near-top right elytra.
