Hi there again. How about Laelida alboochracea? I found an old photo of the paratype from Ernst Huedepohl. Thanks.

Laelida alboochracea Hüdepohl, 1998. Yes, I have the same picture.

Breuning (1938) separates the genera Pharsalia Thomson and Laelida Pascoe as follows:

The third article of the antennae less long than the fourth......Laelida
The third article of the antennae as long or longer than the fourth.....Pharsalia

It fits your female but not your male. Anyways, it looks like a Pharsalia sp.

Thank you. I can clearly see even in the photo, that both of the antennal segments are different sizes.
Just to prove it to myself, I measured both the 3rd and the 4th segments again on both specimens.

The Female 3rd segment is bigger than the 4th though, so not Laelida?

But the male 3rd and 4th are 0.25-0.5mm in difference, so almost identical so Pharsalia?

I agree with you that they are entirely different families and species.
So maybe some kind of mimicry going on.

Maybe both are Pharsalia. I'll keep them in my unidentified pile.

Thank you for your input.
