Here 2 specimens from Thailand, and the original description.
Pterolophia (Hylobrotus) discalis Gressitt, 1951 is, in my opinion, synonymous with Pterolophia truncatipennis (Pic, 1951) , both described from Vietnam in the same year.

Interessantes Thema. Vermutlich eine sehr variable und weit verbreitete Art. Hier 2 Ex. (jeweils außen) aus Sulawesi und in der Mitte ein Ex. von den Philippinen (Luzon). Diese passen mit meinen vietnamesischen Ex. perfekt überein. Leider habe ich aus Vietnam nur Weibchen, so das ich die auffällige Paramere (siehe das Ex. aus Sulawesi) nicht vergleichen kann.

Pterolophia crassipes (Wiedemann, 1823) samt Synonyme gehören eventuell ebenfalls dazu.

Ich glaube, dass es viele Arten mit diesem ähnlichen Habitus gibt,aber ich habe es nicht überprüft, indem ich die Genitalien extrahiert habe. Hier ist ein Beispiel:
