Avec ces taches dorées sur le pronotum, c'est un Margites... mais là il y a un peu de confusion sur les espèces de Pic...

Le Margites fulvidus Pascoe mâle représenté page 41, fig. 483, dans Chinese longicorn (2009) est assez ressemblant. Aurais-tu sa description?

L'insecte me semble plutôt onctueux... le doute pourrait être entre les espèces jaunes: fulvidus (Pascoe) et luteopubens Pic.
Je ne comprend pas bien la différence (Plavilstshikov non plus et les considérait comme de synonymes).

Pourtant Gressitt & Rondon mentionnent pour le Laos seulement Margites luteopubens Pic, 1926.
