From Chiang Mai, TAILANDIA
TL= 23,1 mm.

I identified it as Moechohecyra verrucicollis (Gahan, 1894). Any comments?

Yes, it fits well with the description; but your specimen is also very similar to the HT picture of Moechohecyra arctifera Wang & Chiang, 2002 described from China(Yunnan).

I agree with you Xavier, but in the description of arctifera they says: "This new species is related to M. verrucicollis Gahan, but can be distinguished from the latter by the distinct large arc marking on elytral disc and the pattern hair tufts on basal elytron". Open and franking I do not see these differences (or may be enough differences) to describe a new species. What do you think?

Nothing else: I am unable to understand the differences without seeing the HT of Moechohecyra verrucicollis and a better picture of M.arcifera.
