Due to its short antennal segment III, it seems to me Caediscum imperiale Lefkovich, 1962 (Smodicini).
The species is known from Uganda and Zaire and might be new for Kenya.

consider Obriini - Mythozoum (Dr Adlbauer suggested this for a very similar looking Cerambycid)

It is a good idea, but I do not recognize the Kenyan M. orientale.
Might it be M. somaliense? (paratype here)

Hi Francesco, looking at the outline of the pronotum, does this not tend more to M. orientale?. Sama 1994,indicates that M. somaliense has a less pronounced lateral outline, refer to fig 6 & 7 - Sama G, 1994 Les genres Daramus Fairmaire et Tetropiopsis Chobaut en Afrique du Nord (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, Hesperophanini). L'Entomologiste, Paris 50 (3): 169-180. http://lentomologiste.fr/wp-content/uploads/1994-50/lentomologiste_1994_50_3.pdf.

Here is the Mythozoum orientalis from South Africa; Natal; Mtunzini (ident. K. Adlbauer) for comparison.

This is the type of Mythozoum orientale Quentin & Villiers 1979.
It is a female, but the pronotum seems to me more angulate at the sides than Gyula's specimen.
