The elytral pattern corresponds to Xystrocera abrupta Aurivillius, 1908, but this species should be absent from Kenya.
Here only Xystrocera dispar Fahraeus, 1872 is present.

Adlbauer (1998) quoted this species from Uganda and Tanzania as well.
This is probably a new record for Kenya.
