Though a similar specimen has been send in this Forum and the same species is pictured here in Lamiaires du Monde, I think that this specimen is really a Phelipara. Actually, Paranandra vittula is a relatively smaller species (11-18 mm), without pronotal pattern, elytra apically truncated, with a white net-pattern only on the lateral side. The abdominal segment should have a ochre pattern.
On the contrary, this specimen corresponds exactly to Phelipara marmorata Pascoe, 1866. It should be 22-26 mm long, with 7 longitudinal yellow strips on the pronotum and a with net-pattern on the whole elytral base. The abdominal segments should have a white pattern. Tomorrow, I will add the picture of the type. |

Hmmm... This species was misidentified in my collection, sorry for the confusion. Thanks Francesco! |
