The lobes of the third tarsal segment seem to me rounded (and not acute as in Cyrtognathus); therefore, they should be two Prionomimus.
The pronotum seems to me uneven and punctured (at least in the smaller specimen), the elytra show a double dorsal ridge missing in D. pici; hence, they should be two Dorysthenes (Prionomimus) igai Matsushita, 1941.
I found only one picture in the Web of a living male, which you can check here.
What do you think about it?

The characters you mention do fit quite well: shape of the third tarsal segment and pronotum do quite logically indicate D. igai. O.k. for this.
Between the specimen from Taiwan (reddish) and those from China (darker brown), there are common points but also some some differences on the pronotum and the frontal fossae (Prioninae are so various and little constant...)
Thanks for your help with these!

Coming back to this old post, this species is not evidently D. igai but Dorysthenes (Prionomimus) fossatus (Pascoe, 1857).
Strangely, I had recognized this species from these pictures.

I confirm this is a pair of Dorysthenes (Prionomimus) fossatus (Pascoe, 1857).
