It looks like Blepephaeus s. succinctor Chevrolat, 1852, to verify with Francesco.

I think that your ID was right.
It is a widespread and fairly variable species. Your specimen from Laos is almost pale.

I haven't got enough specimen to compare, and mines are paler, that's right.
