It should be Paroeme nigripes Aurivillius, 1907, Xystrocerini.

Once again, a Xystrocerini. I always am astonished by this tribe so highly polymorphe and difficult to understand.
What does charcterize the tribe? Which way Xystrocerini can be separated from other similar things like Callichromatini (genus Litopus!) or, like in the present case, Cerambycini? |

Xystrocerini is the most basal tribe of Cerambycinae since it is the only one characterised by corneous (rather than membranous) ligula.
Being so primitive, it evolved all other tribes and several of their members have multifarious characters, which can be found in other tribes as well.
Possibly it might be divided in other groups; nonetheless, Oeme and Xystrocera principally differ in the spinose scape, a character that can not be used in order to separate them, since it is present or absent in other tribes (Callichromatini, Batocerini, Aegosomatini, etc...).
Methiini are characterised by reduced elytra, but, if you check the America list, you will find Methiini with entire elytra and Oemini with reduced ones... |
