Northeast Laos, 13 mm.
Because of tarsus, it's not a Cerambycidae for me, but friends of mine, on the French forum insect.org think its one ! It looks like an Oedemeridae. But nobody is able to find the family. Somebody has an idea of its family ? ...or is it a Cerambycidae ??? |

The tarsus formula is 5-5-4. For me, it belongs to Heteromera. But which family ? |

According to me, it might belong to the genus Donaciolagria (Tenebrionidae), but the pictures I have found in the Web are too small for a comparison. |

Hello Francesco, I found the same pictures on the net. I think after searching that it belongs to Tenebrionidae: Lagriini. I sent the picture to a specialist of this group who could confirm it. Thanks a lot ! (I never really thought that it belongs to Cerambycidae ) |

The answer of Otto Merkl (Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest): your beetle is Donaciolagria malgorzatae Merkl, 2011. It is a nice lagriine occurring in Laos and Thailand. The species was described here: Merkl O., 2011 - Donaciolagria malgorzatae sp. nov. from Indochina, and new records of the genus (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae: Lagriini) – Annales Zoologici (Warszawa) 61 (2): 361–366.
