This beast makes me think of Leprodera elongata but a detail bothers me, this beast should have a tuft of hair on the third joint of the antennas. |

Oops.. Doubts remain, obviously, in my view. Thanks for the photo, Gerard! Beside my beetle has very rough sculpture on surface of the antennal segments. I do not believe that this sexual dimorphism of the difference only... The next prodigy of nature. The question remains obscure. But beetle, really, similar. Regrettably, I quite do not know this fauna. |

I suspect that only females of this species have tufts of hairs. Here another male without tufts. |

That's right - the males miss the hairs at this segment, but have very rough sculpture. At least as concerns the couple I found bellow Mt. Kinibalu, Sabah. |
