The body of this small, brilliant green species is all over covered with large strong punctuation.

I would say freyi.
The general habitus fits quite well with my specimen, and no one of the other items of this genus does. The punctuation of the pronotum of the photographed beetle is less dense than on elytra - which is not the case for the beetle I have here: virtually no difference between these two body parts. Punctures are close, almost touching to each other. A simple variation? |

Seeing the photo of Chemsakiella virens, I find the same type of punctuation than on my specimen. Large and strong all over the whole body, without smooth areas on the disc. In addition to this, the long pubescence especially on pronotum and base of the elytra is of the same type than on the depicted ex.
I think that the bright brilliance of my (once again very bad) photo is due to the flash. The insect's colour is bottle green. |
