I have this species also from Tanzania (Uluguru Mts) but is a male at 30mm. Adlbauer id'd it as Dorcasomus pinheyi Quentin & Villiers from a photograph.

Wow!

It is a Dorcasomus.
Key to this genus here.
No one has been recorded from Tanzania yet.
