It seems that yes it is E plagiata and its dark form teocchii that Karl Adlbauer had described from Ethiopia. But it would be necessary that you look also at E aureicollis (I will send you my cards) as well as E tubericollis of which aureicollis is perhaps a synonym? It is téocchi and his accolytes who wrote it in 2010.... so if they wrote it is that there is perhaps some truth? But to be sure it would be necessary to see once more the typus!
