Togo, size 32 mm.
Is this beautiful beetle Mecosaspis laeta?
If yes, then the name of this one has to be changed as Mecosaspis chalybeata (White, 1853) is a synonym of Mecosaspis laeta (Hope, 1843).

Yes, this is a male of the M. laeta Hope, 1843.
The colour can vary from greenish bronze to blue-violet; an amazing item!
