I have tens of these similar pattern Chlorophorus individuals. It is a headache to ID them.

My ID of Chlorophorus tredecimmaculatus (Chevrolat, 1863) is made with Hua's book,(2009), n°360 page 31 with a very short description , and I have never seen the type specimen. Because it fits with this picture, I keep this name for my exemplars from north Laos, but may be I 'm wrong.

That is a good question. I don't know the difference. I made my guess based on comparing your photo to Hua's book (that was the reason I put a question mark after my guess though it was displayed as! :)).

Yes : Here the picture from Hua's book (Type material ??) . I don't see any difference (second black mark on lateral margin close to the second spot line), and it fits with the locality (= China, Wanyuan)
