Picture from Laos Fauna is a mistake; now, I think that C. arciferus is this species here. I found a serie of this species at MNHN, always from Hymalayan area.

C. punctiger : I wonder how C.Holzschuh described this species: several Chlorophorus species have no holotype available !

its C. punctiger tamdaoensis Holzschuh, 1992, inner side of hind femura with a carina, males with a very remarkable genital

It belongs to a hard group species of Chlorophorus;

It is similar to Chlorophorus arciferus (Chevrolat, 1893) in Laos fauna (Gressitt, 1970), fig.36h
