Mais... elle a aussi deux bandes foncées sur les élytres... je ne sais pas si est une variation courante. |

Mais c'est encore apiculata: c'est la seule espèce avec l'apex des élytres épineux.
Ça pourrait etre nouvelle pour la Nouvelle Bretagne. |

Here a picture of Xystrocera apiculata Pascoe, 1869 by Gérard and here holotype male picture by E. Nearns... hard to recognize the same species: Gérard's specimen is a female too but with longer antennae. |

Your specimen should fit with the description above.
I see no mention of such brown line on elytra...Does anybody have a picture of the holotype of X. apiculata Pascoe, 1869 ? |

similar to X. apiculata Pascoe, 1869, my spms from Papua are light brown unicolorous. |
