Here is what Parasalpinia laosensis (Gressitt & Rondon, 1970) look like. Central Vietnam, 9 and 10mm.

Posted - 10/12/2022 : 10:34:12 This species is Salpinia duffyi Villiers & Chûjô, 1966. During a stay on the neighbouring island of Koh Kodd I was able to bring in some infested bark pieces, from which about 30 specimens of this beautiful species hatched. Here is an example of the range of variation. Also very different in size (7-14 mm).
