This is the first specimen of this Camelocerambyx that I have seen.
Could it be new? Has anyone seen it from Sumatra or W. Malaysia?
The photo is not so good, but it has no resemblance to 3 species which I have from Borneo. I have never seen C. vittatus Aur., 1924, but this is apparently not vittatus. Also, if anybody has a good quality pdf file of Aurivillius, C. 1924. Neue oder wenig bekannte Coleoptera Longicornia. 19., can you please send it to me.

Several years ago, Vives identified this as C. vittatus. I don't know if he has a photo of the holotype, but he may be correct. I haven't researched it any further.
