Location: Tamil Nadu, south India...Posting on behalf of a friend...does anyone recognize what genus this is.

Thank you so much for the correction...Going by the shape of the pronotum, this specimen looks similar to Paramimistena duplicata known from Sri Lanka...However, it is different.
