Cannot seem to place this tiny Hemilophini sp.

Yes, the pronotum is exactly the same on all of the specimens. Thanks, a striking variation then.

Essostrutha laeta is an extremely variable species, and extremely common throughout much of Mexico, excluding the mountainous areas. It is found on plants that thrive in disturbed areas, such as along roads and areas which have been deforested.
