Peru. Size 13 mm.

This beetle is very similar to Callanga trichocera Lane 1973, however, antennae are slenderer and the antennomeres starting from 5th instead of being dark and thickly covered with white long pubescence are completely light yellow and covered with scarce yellow bristles.

Something new?

Antonio Santos-Silva (Many thanks!) confirmed this beetle to be a male of Callanga trichocera Lane 1973.
