I have been trying to get in touch with the Bishop Museum, Hawaii, but do net get any answer.
Has someone been able to establish a contact? A name, or an address I could write to?
Thanks! Pierre

Bonjour Pierre,
Bye

Pierre, I believe that the museum is rather short on personnel. It may take some time, or perhaps you should have a friend of yours who works at another museum contact the Bishop Museum.

Typically, a museum's priority is to respond to requests from other museums, rather than individuals.

Likely, they will not loan material to any place other than another museum. If you are requesting photographs, they may not have the facilities or personnel to do that.

Dr. Ohbayashi has taken photographs of many types in the Bishop Museum. You should contact him if you need a photograph of a holotype.
