I'm so sorry for this...thank you Xavier and Francesco for mention the rules of forum.
Xavier Posted - 11/11/2015 : 14:10:57
Ok, no problem with Bin, who did not know our forum rules.
Francesco Posted - 11/11/2015 : 14:09:22
I have moved the topic in the secret section and reinstated the pictures.
It is not possible to delete them; otherwise, the topic has no-sense.
Xavier Posted - 11/11/2015 : 13:58:13
Hi Bin,
You have deleted your picture. Please, read my mail
Xavier Posted - 02/11/2015 : 12:16:44
Postmediam maculae are lighter on your specimens, but we have to compare them to these Loatian specimens (and other post of the same species )

Pseudomacrochenus antennatus (Gahan, 1894). Laos fauna (1970): Fig. 27 i

As I said to you, I will try to find at MNHN-Paris the holotype of Mecotagus rufulosparsus Fairmaire, 1902 which is a synonym of Pseudomacrochenus antennatus Gahan (cf. Titan database)

No problem: we inserted pictures of the types twice.

I think that your specimens could only be Pseudomacrochenus oberthueri or albipennis (actually, very similar).
You can find pictures of all (five) species in this Forum.

Otherwise it is a new species.
Actually, I do not find ochreous pubescence between the white spot and the apical ochreous vitta in other species.

Pardon, j'ai repris en photo la même bête.
Francesco Posted - 31/10/2015 : 14:08:57
Gerard, tu et Xavier avez inséré la même espèce dans la section des types!
Cherchez Pseudomacrochenus
BinLiu Posted - 31/10/2015 : 14:06:04

Thank you, Gerard!
But I think, they are different species, just from the first look in pronotum.
