Please help me identify the specific name written on this label.I can only confirm that the generic name is Monohammus. It appears to belong to the genus Acalolepta.

Interesting!
Fairmaire published his last work in 1905 and passed away on 1 April 1906.
This was really a cotype (paratype) that Fairmaire aimed to published.

Afterwards, Aurivillius described the same species (here, p. 216) from material of von Bennigsen's collection (now, in Senckenberg DEI, Müncheberg).
Rudolf von Bennigsen (here) was the governor of German New Guinea between 1899 and 1901.
Both insects had however German origin.

Written on labels:

Monohammus cinerascius Fairm. (= Fairmaire)
Ladrone Is (=Islands) co Type

Monohammus cinerescens Frm (= Fairmaire)
Mariannes Is. (= Islands) Type
Pacific Ladrone Is.(=Islands) Fry. Coll 1905.100.

Ladrone is an old name of Mariannes Islands.

I can find no trace of this species in titan database. The only Acalolepta described from the Mariana Islands is Acalolepta marianarum (Aurivillius, 1908), which could be this species.
