This should be the true C. sulphurea, corresponding to Pascoe's original drawing.


Agelasta sulphurea Pascoe, 1865, pl. VII, fig. 6

Breuning (1939) wrote that this species is rarely white; then, he described this white form as Choeromorpha albovaria Breuning, 1954.
Actually, it is the same species, since the type of sulphurea is white.

Yes, but the elytral marking are all the orange color.

Its much darker than the other sulphurea I have. Perhaps just an old specimen. thanks

It seems to be Choeromorpha sulphurea Pascoe, 1865 but I don't know this colored form.
