My apologies, I meant Niphona plagifera (Aurivillius, 1925).

But, I still believe that N. albosignatipennis may be a synonym of this species!!

Strange, by looking to the holotype of Niphona hepaticolor (Heller, 1923) presented on Larry's website; and which has been described from Philippines (Mindanao).

I have this as Niphona hepaticolor (Heller, 1923) which has been recorded from Borneo, Philippines and many other places by Breuning.
We know that Breuning made mistakes.
The question here is: Did he make a mistake by recording a species from various places, or did he describe albosignatipennis after it was already described by Heller as hepaticolor?

Niphona albosignatipennis, Breuning,1968.
