From Sabah, Crocker Range.
The real color is more brown, and my photo does not show the hair tufts at base of elytra, but there are some tufts indeed. Also a short bump, not acute but very visible closer to the thorax (can't find a name for that thumblike bump).

According to Breuning's catalog from 1962, infasciculata is a synonym of thoracica. It's also listed that way in TITAN.

I wouldn't bet that Breuning is always correct , however ...
