Yes, the metallic shine depends on angle of view, so is not very apparent in the photo. |

So, Exocentrus (Pseudocentrus) rufohumeralis Breuning, 1957.
Because of "Élytres d'un bleu foncé métallique" = Elytra of a metallic dark blue, I ignored this species; but " On each elytron a large humeral spot and a large apical spot, light red " is more persuasive, and Sumatra is closer to Singapore ! |

My species is indeed in the Pseudocentrus subgenus, to which parterufipennis belongs. The description of parterufipennis has a few discrepancies compared to my species. In my specimen, scape is 1.25 times longer than 3rd joint, pronotum is only 1.6 times wider than long. The lower eye lobe is much longer than 2 times the genae. And I wouldn't say the elytral punctures are rather fine.
I think it could be the Pseudocentrus rufohumeralis Breuning 1957 instead. The description matches quite well (except again for the "scape as long as 3rd joint"):
Antennes un peu plus longues que le corps, le troisieme article aussi long que le scape. Lobes inferieurs des yeux quatre fois plus longs que les joues. Pronotum presque deux fois plus large que long, pourvu d'une petite epine laterale pointue, dirigee obliquement vers l'arriere. Elytres tres densement et peu finement ponctues.
Noir. Elytres d'un bleu fonce metallique. Sur chaque elytre une grande tache humerale et une grande tache apicale, rouge clair. Dessous du corps et pattes a fine pubescence grise.
Long. : 4 mm. ; Larg. : 1 mm. 1/2. |

Exocentrus (Pseudocentrus) parterufipennis Breuning, 1956 has been described from Philippines(Mindanao)... but this specimen fits with the desciption.
