I am not so sure... B. thomsoni shows specimens with a similar pattern as well (e.g. here).
The true difference in males is the length of the limbs and the presence of an acute spine (a stout tooth in rubus) at the outer angle of the first protarsomere (cf. here).
I can hardly detect both characters, but you can find confronting specimens in the Forum. |

This specimen let me think about B. rubus punctatella (Kriesche) known from Thailand.
B.thomsoni features only two white spots on elytra (Malaysia/Sumatra/Borneo) |
