As for me it looks like more to Cantharocnemis somalius, but distribution makes me doubtful.

After Drumont's (2011) revision, the name of this species is Cantharoctenus burchelli burchelli (Westwood, 1866).
The spp. insignis is widespread in Kenya.

With those antenomeres and pronotal shaping it looks like Burchelli insignis ... without certainty.
