what seems strange for me is not that 2 tribes exist but the genera combination of them ....

According to Lacordaire (1869: 56) Ergatini differ from Callipogonini in the hairless mouth pieces.
Please, verify if this corresponds to the truth or is sufficient to define a tribe.

The same author proposed Derobrachides, Orthomegides, Titanides and other strange groups...

I do not really know why someone divides Callipogonini.
Does someone know the reason?

Not Ergatini?
