Selon Breuning, andrewesi (de l'Inde) se sépare de quadrinotata (de Birmanie et Malaisie) pour avoir une "tache noire au côté interne des épaules"... je ne comprend bien qu'est que ça signifie, mais s'il s'agit de la tache qu'on devrait appeler "humérale", ton exemplaire n'a rien de différent de celui de la gallérie.
J'ai deux femelle de Malacca, mais je ne me rappelle plus ce détail...
G. quadrinotata est mentionnée du Laos par Rondon & Breuning (1970)

Je me posais la question car j'ai reçu deux "andrewesi" de Malaisie qui ressemblent beaucoup au quadrinotata posté ici.

I am confused by this species. According to Gahan illustration of G.quadrinotata below, the lateral spine is longer than the sutural spine at the elytral apex, but the specimen in this topic has the sutural spine longer than the lateral (as is the Malacca species in the Gallery)

(I have two Singapore specimens which is like that of Gahan's illustration). Breuning in his revision only said "Naht- und Randecke in je einen mäßig langen Dorn ausgezogen)" so we are none the wiser. Anyone can shed some light on this?
