This is a Metacoptops.

There are at least 3 new species in Sabah, according to Yamasako (pers. comm.)

Robert, your specimen looks different than the photographs which Yamasako sent to me. Here are photos of 3 new ones and M. fasciculata (large white macula on each elytron)

It isn't a Metacoptops nagaii Yamasako & Heffern, 2018 male ?
