Hello the forum, one of my friends is wondering what is the genus, or even the tribe, of this beetle from New Guinea.
He has access to a couple of similar species.

Agaone notabilis (White, 1855) (cf. here)... but it should be a South American species!

It is a ordinary longhorn beetles in South America, and I have collected many specimens from the imported Surinam logs.
