Cleomenes rufobasalis Holzschuh, 1991 has been described from a fake place from Thailand (have a look here ), and it should be a species from "Malaysia"; worst, it could also be a synonym of a Malaysian species.

Dear Xavier,

What species do you indicate?

As far as I know, below is not C. malayanus.

Of course I read the link page.

I am sorry for I misunderstood that you meant another species.

By the way, I think C. rufobasalis can distinguish from C. vitiatus by basal Elytral color.
