look at here: Bulbolmotega sumatrensis Breuning (HT from SMTD), 1966 a really nice sps, maybe the same like yours

Thanks Andreas, mine matches very well.
The basal elytral crests that show as bare in the type (rubbed off I would guess), are quite evident upon a look through the microscope. Thanks for the great help.

Hi Xaurus, Thanks for the photo of the type, I collected one from S-Yunnan, Chian. Almost be the same species, rather a strange distribution. |

Well, ...specimen from Yunnan could be Spinosodus rufomaculatus Breuning, 1973 (Pteropliini)
...specimen from Java could be Spinosodus spinicollis Breuning & de Jong, 1941 or Bulbolmotega sumatrensis Breuning, 1966 (Acanthocinini)
...Are there 3 different species ? Which one are synonyms ? |
