We have a type picture of Examnes genus here with fourth antennomera shorter.
Could your sp. belong to another tribe ? (Oemini ?) |

The shape of the head is typical of the Xystrocerini. It might be a Pelossus (ask to Sama how differentiate this genus from Xystrocerini... I have no idea). |

I see only one species in Asia : Pelossus unicolor (Gressitt, 1951). |

Thanks Francesco & Xavier, very interesting for me, but I miss the information about the genus Pelossus in my database, where is that published, maybe in Tavakilian (2013), I don't know this paper, do you have a pdf. Acc to the description, it could be a male of P. unicolor, with remarkable features: tip of the antennal segment 3-5 thickened, in front of the fore coxae with a dull small spine. A bit strange for me this genus is congenerical with f.e. Lygrus or others. |

In Titan database, it seems that nobody used Pelossus since the original description (Thomson, 1864). The last author, (Holzschuh, 1998) used Lygrus. I do not know who made the synonymy. |

2 new Pelossus species are described in this paper: Yokoi, Makihara and Noerdjito, 2106. Notes on the Genera Examnes and Pelossus (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae) in East Kalimantan, Indonesia.
