Yes, an Apriona sp. ; it is very close to Apriona swainsoni (Hope, 1840) but white spots are lacking, so I do not know...

I have several swainsoni and this is larger, wider and has antennal markings quite different than most Apriona.

Here an Apriona swainsoni - I hope so - , from northern Laos. Not less large or wide than yours, and antenna markings are the same. Your specimen is darker.

I will compare it to the 3 or 4 I have. You are correct in that it looks the same compared to mine. The ones I have are somewhat thinner and have the many white marks. They could be all males.
