Rondibilis spinosula (Pascoe, 1860) is a species from Indonesia and P.New Guinea. I do not know if it exists in south India.
I think it is better first to check Indian species of the genus:
- Rondibilis barwayensis (Breuning, 1958) from Madhya Pradesh (closer area from south India) - Rondibilis bispinosa Thomson, 1857 from "India " too. - may be also widespread species as Rondibilis lineaticollis (Pic, 1922)
As I answer you in a private mail, many Rondibilis species have exactly the same kind of spots and spines on elytra, and I am unable to separate them on picture. |
