Non è facile capire da questa foto.
Vedi una macchia tomentosa triangolare alla base delle elitre come in M. fuliginosa?

Nessuna parte tomentosa sulle elitre che sono perfettamente lisce e di un colore uniforme quasi bronzo.
Mancano anche le due depressioni che formano una specie di disegno triangolare a livello dello scutellum in Mecosaspis croesus.

Mecosaspis laeta (Hope, 1843), after Juhel's revision (older synonym of chalybeata).
