It should not be considered too offensive if we ignore some of the changes proposed by Slipinski and Escalona. They would place every pteropliine in Australasia into one genus if they thought it would make their key work better.
OK. The tribe needs a serious revision that will take somebody a lifetime. |

It is Eczemotes granulosa Breuning, 1938 in both cases.
Wallir is an isle in the group of the Tayandu Islands (Kai), where the species has been already recorded. The label "Timor" is rather suspect. |
