I think to Astylopsis macula (Say, 1826) with large white bands on apical elytra part.
If it's, Mexico is new record, or perhaps, new subspecies (but "Mexico" is too large, nearctic or neotropical part ?)

I believe this is a Leptostylus near hilaris.

There are numerous undescribed species, and some are quite variable.

I'm ok with Leptostylus and species near hilaris.
Moreover, antennae correspond better.
It seems but it isn't an Astylopsis. Well seen!
