I would say Leptostylus batesi Casey 1913.

Swift et al (2010) listed about 35 species of Leptostylus from Costa Rica. Hovore (2002, unpublished manuscript) listed 28 identified species and 11 species which were either new or could not be identified. It is just not possible to absolutely identify some Acanthocinini due to variations and lack of knowledge about all of the species.

That being said, I have specimens tentatively or positively identified as L. batesi from Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

There is no Leptostylus batesi in Swift et al (2010). Other data are not published as I understand.
