Isn't that a female of Mallodon chevrolatii Thomson, 1867? Sergei |

Really, I did just correct the old name of P. crassidens. But, it is a female of Mallodon spinibarbis. M.chevrolati don't exist in french Guiana.

"Really, I did just correct the old name of P. crassidens" ? The crassidens and ubirajarai species are 2 valid species (see Delahaye & Tavakilian publication, 2015).

Indeed, P. crassidens does exist, but Physopleurus found in French Guiana has been confused with crassidens for more than 15 years. Delahaye and Tavakilian specified the difference. That's what I meant by that. |
