With these hairy antennal segments I have a doubt about belonging to the Onciderini...

Yes, Onciderini. Looks a little like Taricanus truquii, which was inexplicably reported from Texas in the 19th century, although nobody ever provided any further data, nor are there any preserved voucher specimens.

I have no doubt that your locality is erroneous. Or, somehow this beetle managed to get to Texas in an uncured piece of wood or some other act of commerce.
