Yes, a perfect fit again! Corresponds fully to the original description. Two outer ribs out of four in elytra are fused on about 2/3 of elytron length, then split and diverge slightly, but are not well separated and are rather denoted by light pubescence than elevated. So, this is not N. costata. Thus, Desmiphorini, Nyoma kyamburensis Adlbauer, 1998. Described from Kyambura Game Reserve, not far from Kibale National Park, where my beetle was collected. |
